Mon 13 Feb, 5pm International Women's Strike Huddle
On January 21st, we joined hundreds of Sister Marches organised nationwide and around the world in solidarity with the Women’s March on Washington against Trump. Our Invest in Caring Not Killing contingent in London was multi-racial with many different sectors including mothers, carers, asylum seekers, lgbtq, rape survivors, women with disabilities, sex workers, shop assistants, waitresses, factory workers, children and men... We marched with a massive banner "Dump Trump - NO sexism, racism, poverty".
We are now helping organise the International Women's Strike in the UK, US and elsewhere, which has been called for 8 March (International Women's Day).
Join our Huddle 13 February 2017, 5-6.45pm to discuss what we want to do for 8 March. Come to the Crossroads Women's Centre, 25 Wolsey Mews, Kentish Town, London NW5 2DX.
