We hear from those impacted by the so-called “Dirty War” in Argentina, a war that cost an estimated thirty thousand lives. And, former Catholic priest and liberation theologist Blase Bonpane weighs in on the new Pope and the relationship between the church hierarchy and repression in Central and South America. Also, victims of sexual abuse by Catholic priests press to make public previously hidden testimony by one of the major Cardinals in the US. What is the expected impact of the new Pope on US and international prosecution? Our guest is Peter Isely a graduate of Harvard Divinity School, a survivor of childhood sexual assault by a Wisconsin priest and founding member and Midwest Director of Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP).
