The Global Women’s Strike and Payday, a network of men, campaign together to win economic and social recognition for unwaged caring work and to demand the return of military budgets to the community, starting with women the first carers everywhere.

Invest in Caring Not Killing

Come and support a womans 18 month fight with Alameda County Social Services for In Home Health Services payment for the work of caring for her 83 year old mother. The county is out of compliance with a State court decision the woman won on appeal.

Speak in protest of the $trillions going to endless war, waste, fraud, abuse, and corporate theft. Hear news from Global Womens Strike actions around the world.

Part of International Womens Day activities

Stand with Prostitute Women against increased arrests by police in Lower Nob Hill and the Mission which push prostitution further underground, making women more vulnerable to violence and exploitation. 

Call for implementation of a City resolution prioritizing protection of sex workers over arrest and prosecution and for redirecting the millions of dollars spent on arrests and jail into resources for women.

 

Take part in a Police Watch Team

A team including lawyers will be out in the street to monitor police activities against sex workers join us! Call for the dates.

A striking documentary exposing how US political elites working with Israeli public relations have a powerful influence over media reporting on Palestinian/ Israeli news in an attempt to distort public opinion.

An evening to support Bay Area activities to Boycott Israeli Goods (BIG) and divestment from Israel.  This growing international campaign opposes  the US-Israeli wars in the Middle East and genocide against Palestinian people.  BIG is asking Rainbow Grocery, a worker-led coop to take up the boycott.
