 The event will also launch the book “Creating a Caring Economy: Nora Castañeda and the Women’s Development Bank of Venezuela” in English and Spanish - keynote speaker Selma James, author & international coordinator of the Global Women’s Strike. 

 Other speakers: Margaret Prescod of Women of Color in the Global Women’s Strike, host of Sojourner Truth/KPFK Radio; the Hurricane Evacuees Council/Bay Area; Phoebe Jones, Global Women’s Strike, Philadelphia speaking on Opt Out and Mumia Abu Jamal; Rachel West, In Defense of Prostitute Women’s Safety Project.
