Selma James
– from London England
Activist, author, strategist, critical thinker and international
coordinator of the Global Women’s Strike. Selma’s many publications
include Sex, Race and Class and The Power of Women and
Subversion of the Community. She introduced Creating a
Caring Economy: Nora Castañeda and the Women's Development Bank of
Venezuela, a recent publication. She is the widow, and was for many
years the closest colleague, of CLR James (The Black Jacobins,
etc.). |
