| Lancaster, PA On April 2, 2005, Mexico Solidarity Network is coordinating an event "From Chiapas to Venezuela to Haiti to the U.S.: Women Demand Pay Equity and a Living Wage for All Our Work" to take place at a women's shelter in downtown Lancaster. With presentations by Mexico Solidarity Network & the Global Women's Strike/Phila. Organizers say they will show videos of revolutionary women's cooperatives in Venezuela (by the Strike) and Chiapas, Mexico and "discuss women's demands for change in Latin America and at home" on the theme of Invest in Caring Not Killing. |
