What: Community Event

Hands Off Social Security – End the War in Iraq

Where: Sunset Hall Retirement Residence for activists
2830 Francis Ave, LA (south of Wilshire, east of Vermont)
When: Saturday, May 7, 2PM

You are invited to a grassroots speakout to defend Social Security and make it better. On May 7 join activists, seniors, students, union members and non-union, those of us at the low end of social security or none at all, to share how Bush’s genocidal plan to privatize it impacts all of us. Women, particularly women of color, will pay the highest price. Find out how communities are fighting back for resources to go to people, not to war.

Bring your energy and creativity to help build for a People’s Assembly, Community Fair & Rally in Pershing Square on May 21.

Endorsed by the Global Women’s Strike and many community groups; initiated by the ANSWER Coalition. For more info, contact GWS at 323-292-7405 or ANSWER at 323-464-1636
