    7 pm Presentation on the COEEF (Children of Ethiopia Education Fund) followed by evening address with guest Katrina Abarcar, followed by the film "Two Trevors Go To Washington". Orson Spencer Hall, U of U Refreshments served

  • 1:45pm Sweating for a T shirt UCLA freshman Arlen Benjamin journeys to Honduras to investigate practices of the sweatshop industry in the maquilas of Western clothing companies.
  • 2:15pm Making their way Studies problems of working women worldwide, including prejudices, job opportunities, and equal treatment.
  • 2:50pm From Sunup Examines the roles of rural Tanzanian women, the pillars of their families, as they struggle to feed, clothe, and house themselves and their children.
  • 3:25pm Sisters and Daughters Betrayed Documentary about trafficking of woman around the world (Nepal, Philippines, Thailand…) and its effects on individual girls and society.
  • 4:00pm Mormon "Erotica" A local filmmaker presents his humorous look at the symbols of Zion with voice-over interviews relating to the role of women in the LDS church.
  • 4:15pm Polygamy and Me A local filmmaker presents her film about her own experience in polygamous relationships.
  • 4:45pm A Skirt Full of Butterflies In the Zapotec community cultural pride is paramount, women run the economy, "fat is beautiful," and female ancestors displayed spunk in war and politics.
