Hungary: Strike event in Budapest 2003

In Budapest a march of women have been organized against war in IRAQ on 8 March 2003.  "WOMEN FOR PEACE" was the title of the event.

Participants had placards: "WOMEN WANT PEACE", "We do not want the war in Iraq", "PEACE" and "STOP THE WAR".

Some women were wearing ethnical clothes symbolizing the sisterhood of women from all over the world.   Many women had dolls and flowers symbolizing LIFE.  A small girl have been wearing a white clothe symbolizing Peace.

At the end of the event GLOBAL WOMEN'S Strike demands were read, with special emphasis on the "INVEST IN CARING NOT KILLING" slogan.
