DEMOCRACY NOW
“Democracy Now”, the well-known public radio program hosted by distinguished progressive journalist Amy Goodman on the Pacifica Network, will once again feature the Global Women’s Strike for its March 8 program!  The program broadcasts to 50 cities across the US, and internationally on RFPI (Radio for Peace International), and now is also a television program that reaches 7 million households.  Featuring live on-the-spot interviews with women in Strike actions in several countries.  Based in New York City, “Democracy Now” can be heard at 9am East Coast time, at 6am and 9am in San Francisco and LA.  For local broadcast times and stations, or to listen or watch online go to: www.democracynow.org.   You can also listen there to last year’s Strike show by clicking on “Archives” and going to March 8, 2001.
