The "Democracy Now" program on the Global Women's Strike can be heard online at: www.democracynow.org

  • Click the "Listen to Us" button in the upper left-hand corner
  • At the bottom of the next page, click "Archives"
  • On the next page, click "March" under 2001
  • Then click "March 8"
  • Then click on "International Women's Day" (it is the first story)

They have a summary of the program in text, and when you click on the title, you can hear the entire program.

You will need RealPlayer or some other Audio software. If you don't have Real Player click here to download the free version of Real Player.   Fill out the short form & click on download FREE Real Player Basic. Then choose Save this file to disk . . . in the dialog box that appears.  The file is 10.4 MB
