* * * LIMA The Centro de Capacitacion para Trabajadoras del Hogar (CCTH) is coordinating the Strike in Peru, combining the Strike demands with their own demands. Domestic workers are asking their feminist employers for the day off. CCTH will have an open day at their Centre and hold a press conference. With the participation of 12 grassroots organizations such as mothers and other women who give out subsidised breakfast to children, soup kitchens and the General Confederation of Peruvian Workers and of the Christian community. They will put a broom outside their door as a symbol of the Strike.

* * * HUANUCO Umbrella group of Women's Organisations of Huanuco have joined the Strike for women's work to be valued and for the right of women to rest and to be fully recognised.
