Asuncion, Strike participation of 25 November Women's Collective against Violence, with various activities:

1. wear an orange ribbon as a sign of support with the demands of women all over the world
2. take ten, twenty, minutes or the whole the day to do something that we enjoy a lot
3. take a coffee or a beer with your friends
4. Speak on the phone with a person you get on best with that day.

*** Various women's organisations join the Strike. On 7 March we are launching the Gender and Development Department of the National University especially for the Strike on the 8^th so that we do NOTHING, We will state this publicly. Toast and rest from all work on 8 March. We are promoting the Strike through the Equality for Women in Education programme of the Secretary of Women and the Ministry of Educatioin and Culture. The following women's groups are participating: the Co-ordination of women in Paraguay, the Political Women's Network and CEDAI (Help Centre for survivors of domestic violence, sexual abuse and incest).
