Women's action group at Galway University will ask crèches and sports centres for free entry for women. They’re raising: lack of baby changing facilities in toilets; lack of sanitation; women students having to hold down several part-time jobs in order to stay at college; few places in the crèche and no free crèche for some; the slowness of the student's union in setting up a women's section; action to deal with sexist posters around the university and to deal with men who react violently or offensively to teaching on women's issues. They will then join the midday downtown events.
