Along with Haliburton, Bechtel receives billions to implement US control of Iraq's resources. ! Bechtel is the world's largest contractor and has a global rap sheet for profiting from war, human suffering and destruction of the environment. It built nearly half of the nuclear power plants in the world and oversees the nuclear dumpsite at Yucca Mountain ! Its genocidal policies hit women, who do the work of caring for people and the environment, hardest. Women, starting with grandmothers from Big Mountain who fought displacement, are holding Bechtel accountable for its crimes. ! Its efforts to privatize water in many countries, in Bolivia were defeated by a grassroots rebellion led by women. ! Bechtel is one of the top four beneficiaries of "corporate welfare", while the care giving work of mothers on welfare is not valued, resulting in forced work and cuts in mother's money. ! It's the profits of multinationals like Bechtel and Haliburton that US foreign policy is aimed at protecting through war, occupation and other policies. DON'T LET BUSH OR BECHTEL OFF THE HOOK!
