ANTI-WAR STATEMENTS FROM GUYANA

Cora
Why I totally disagree with the war.  As women we did not make our children to die like beasts.  But I have to to be honest in my religious beliefs, for I know that America is in prophecy and they are the lamb like beast the Bible talks about.
I also believe that they are wasting money on guns and ammunition, when  so many children and adults are suffering from hunger and starvation around the world. Mr Bush is all about power, I know that some day he will lose his power. I say to Mr Bush STOP the WAR NOW. Whenever there is a crisis the women suffer.

Chandra
Not because we stay silent it means we do not feel pain. Women feel more pain because they are the ones who hold the future of the world by producing the work force that these people send to war. No to war.

Wintress
The world places women as the main carer for children. Imagine the hard days and nights that women have to spend in bringing up their children, only to have  them (mostly poor) join the army to be slaughtered like pigs. Imagine human beings killing each other, just to satisfy the greed of Mr. Bush and his allies. America has to change their interfering polices and to adopt a much better and truthful approach in whatever they are doing.
Well if America is going to call people terrorist then they themselves fit that category. For me I would say down with guns and feed the starving children. We do not need more bloodshed.  As MR.BUSH wants the war he should be the first person on the battlefield.

Nicola
I am totally against the war. Women play the most important role in the economy. We are the child bearers and rearers. We are the ones who produce the lawyers, doctors, prime ministers and MR.BUSH. We did not make these children for this.  If we had known that would have been the purpose I am sure all women would have decided not to make children.
If that had happened where would Mr. Bush and all the others who wants war be? The big question is. Why is Mr. Bush and the others who wants the war, not leading the war? They should be at the forefront. As a mother, a sister, an aunt, a cousin, a woman, I SAY STOP THE WAR NOW. STOP putting money where it ought not to be. STOP spending money on unnecessary things like weapons to destroy human beings. Invest money in peoples well being.

Halima
I am against the war, because it is affecting everybody. I feel that no woman would want to make their children and send them to fight war and get killed.
The war would affect all over.

I am happy that the war inspectors were given two more weeks to complete their task. At the  moment I have a cousin, who was sent to Kuwait in preparation for the war. I do not see Mr. Bush leading by example. He has weapons of mass destruction but he do not see that as a threat to the world.
He do not give a damn about the countries that have famines, or how many mothers’ hearts would be broken. Mr. Bush, lead by example.

Margaret
There should be no war, because innocent lives will be taken. Many countries would get involved. It could end up to be a world war. The demonstration that women are doing in many countries, I wish it reach the war attacker, touch his heart and call off the war.
