Dear Sisters

 

We invite you to join our Grassroots Women’s Contingent on the Million Women Rise March, on Saturday 8 March, International Women’s Day, under our banner:  “Prosecute rapists & racists, not rape victims, asylum seekers, sex workers, children . . .”  By grassroots we mean all women who are not seeking power for themselves but for all of us from the bottom up.  

 

We will be marching with Feminist Fightback, and the International Union of Sex Workers.  

 

11.30am meet in Hyde Park at the second tea hut alongside Park Lane (Speaker’s Corner end) - look out for our banners! 

 

The Million Women Rise March is women-only and assembles at 12 noon, North Carriage, Cumberland Gates, near Speakers Corner at Hyde Park and goes to Trafalgar Square for a rally at 3.30pm.  

 

4.30pm, picket of SERCO the company which runs Yarl’s Wood Immigration Removal Centre organised by Feminist Fightback with the All African Women's Group and Black Women's Rape Action Project, SERCO Research Institute, 22 Hand Court, London, WC1V 6JF.
